[It's an odd sight, that's for sure - a 5 foot tall, scrawny kid facing off against a 8 foot tall, buff lizard wielding a huge, wooden hammer. He's not scared, though; far from it! Everytime the lizard takes a swing, he jumps back; at the moment, all it seems he's doing is staring it down... until he's finished with his calculations, that is. The next time the lizard swings its hammer, Arata waits until it hits the dirt - jumping onto the mallet's head and using it as an extra boost to jump high into the air and stomp, heels first, into the top of the monster's skull. ... Luckily for him, it seems it couldn't handle that hard of an impact - as he jumps off, Arata also gives it a swift kick, toppling it over and it disappears into a soul, ready to charge the realm's powerup.]
Ha! Who's next!?
[That's aimed at the purple lizards in the vicinity - who all run off.]
[Red's actually been watching the kid for a while, leaning against a wall--this guy's impressive, what can he say?--and after a brief moment of silence, he starts applauding quietly.
Pikachu on his shoulder gives a rather exasperated "Pika..." at his trainer. Red's covered in dirt and grime, a telltale sign of the work he'd been doing beforehand, and this... spectacle really was quite the interesting sight to see while he was taking a break. His other Pokemon are wandering around for the break as well...]
... Programmed...? [A questioning squeak from the Pikachu as he jumps from Red's shoulder and comes over to investigate.
Because seriously, what the heck, human.
But onto the other part of that.] Well, I don't think I'd blame them for being terrified.
[... Oh no, that's Charizard roaring in the background, what's going on now--oh he just... torched one of the other lizards. Okay. Okay, cool, Red's just going to turn back towards Arata.]
Well; I hope they're ready for a beating, because they won't escape me!
[SCOFFS. ... Oh - there's a... there's a thing at his feet. Hey there, Pikachu, have a look. Not a bad one or anything, just... well. He's never really seen a Pikachu before.]
[Defense Scan's pretty useful off the field, huh? Arata's pretty curious himself though - he bends down, holding a hand out to Pikachu. Hey, buddy, don't mind a little investigating yourself.]
About 800 kilowatts, enough to power a house of four, assuming the average amount of power used.
[Oh - so it's affectionate too... sure, okay, he'll give him some ear scritches.]
I've scanned him, so of course I can; but that's a lot of electricity for an animal to have... Most of the ones from my world would be charred to a crisp. What kind of animal is he anyway? A rabbit?
[... Or something. The hell kind of ears are those.]
He's called a Pikachu--animals from your world don't really exist in mine, you see. [He's learned that most worlds have non-Pokemon sort of animals rather than Pokemon. Pikachu leans into the scritches contentedly.]
Instead, we have Pokemon. They all have the potential for incredible power. [He quickly digs out his Pokedex and offers it to Arata.] This has more information than I do. It's not entirely complete, though. I haven't even filled out the Kanto Pokedex like my best friend has.
[Neat - he'll take it with his free hand then, scrolling through it for a minute or two before handing it back.]
... I've memorized what you do have; it's amazing! Training with one of your "Pokemon" might enhance my abilities far further than my coach's training...
I'll have to point you in my friend's direction if you want more information, then. [He chuckles.]
Yeah? I guess you can have at it, then. I'm sure they won't mind. Just be careful, though. Blastoise doesn't know his own strength and Charizard can get pretty carried away.
[Sorry, Pikachu, but Arata's already on his feet and running to meet that Charizard then - and by meet I mean running as fast as he can with a shout to try tackle it and see how steady it is on its feet.
I guess Red's owed an apology in that regard too. And Charizard.]
Charizard lets out a startled half-roar when he's tackled, but manages to stay standing, attempting to push Arata back. Whoa there, little human. Whoa.]
[... Well, at least Charizard has a warning this time! He stomps the ground a little and braces himself, ready to push back Arata when the boy charges!]
[This time, Arata won't let himself be pushed back - he digs his heel into the ground behind him as he pushes against the dragon Pokemon, trying his hardest to stay on his feet!
... Of course, he's not a dragon Pokemon himself, so it doesn't take long for him to topple backward.]
... Hahhh... This is great - what else can you do!?
[He's hopped right back onto his feet now, raring to go!]
Shimozuru Arata | Inazuma Eleven (DS)

He gives Red a grin, hands on his hips.]
You thought that was impressive enough for applause?
You should've been here earlier; that's when the real show was happening!
no subject
Either way, that was pretty awesome.

[He really needs a soccer ball though.]
Those lizards are a bunch of cowards - they run off every time I get too close!
[Arata, sweetie...]

... But the kid smells human... Pikachu is confused. And it shows. Don't mind the electric rodent circling and sniffing.]
... Ah, don't mind Pikachu there. He's just curious, I guess.

You can tell that just from looking, huh? Little guy's pretty impressive. He's the strongest of my team.

Haha - I knew you would be good for this!
Give me everything you've got; I need to collect all of your data!

Give me something else - I'll dodge it! I'll return it!
Just show me what you can do!!
[Or he'll take it into his own hands and attack if Charizard would rather have that?]
no subject
Look out, flames incoming!]
